Ordering and minimums
What is the minimum order quantity?
50 units across every custom-printed format. Below that, the setup cost per unit stops making sense for either of us and we would tell you so.
Can I order different sizes in one run?
Yes, but each distinct size is a separate dieline and a separate setup, so each one carries its own minimum. Two sizes at 50 units each is treated as two orders of 50, not one order of 100.
Do you hold stock for repeat orders?
We hold your dieline and print files indefinitely, so a reorder skips straight to production. We do not warehouse finished boxes unless it is arranged as part of a wholesale agreement.
What payment terms do you offer?
Payment in full on first order. Established accounts ordering regularly can apply for NET 30 or NET 60 terms through the wholesale programme.
Design and artwork
Do you charge for the structural dieline?
No. It is free and returned within 24 hours. It is yours to keep regardless of whether you order.
What file formats do you accept?
Vector artwork as AI, PDF or EPS with fonts outlined and a 3mm bleed. Raster elements at 300dpi at final size. If you have a logo and nothing else, we can take it from there.
Can you design the packaging for us?
Yes. Graphic design is quoted separately from the box. Tell us at quote stage whether you have print-ready files, rough ideas, or nothing yet, and we will price accordingly.
How close will you get to my brand colours?
Close, but kraft shifts every ink because it is a brown ground rather than a white one. For an exact match we print a white underbase or use a white-top liner, both of which add cost. We tell you which your artwork needs before you approve anything.
Materials and sustainability
Is kraft packaging recyclable?
Uncoated and clay-coated kraft goes into the standard paper stream with no separation step. Laminated finishes, PLA windows and foil change that, and we say so per specification rather than applying one blanket claim to everything.
Do you use PFAS in food packaging?
No. We run no PFAS-based grease barriers on any food line. The barrier is a clay coating, a water-based dispersion, or PLA lamination depending on the contents.
What inks do you use?
Soy-based inks as standard, with water-based varnishes. Food-contact orders use non-migrating food-safe inks and ship with a food-contact declaration.
Is your board FSC certified?
FSC certified board is available on request and priced per order, because chain-of-custody documentation carries a real cost. Ask for it at quote stage and we will confirm availability and the certificate number for your specific run.
Production and delivery
How long does production take?
14 business days from artwork approval for most fibre formats. Rigid boxes and pouches run 14 to 21 business days. Specialty finishes can add a day or two.
Can you rush an order?
Sometimes, depending on press schedule and format. Tell us the deadline at quote stage rather than after approval, because the options narrow considerably once a job is queued.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes. International freight is quoted per shipment and depends on volume and destination. Duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
What happens if the order arrives wrong?
Tell us within 14 days of delivery with photographs. If the run does not match the approved proof, we remake it. If it matches the proof, we will still help you work out what went wrong in the approval and how to avoid it next time.
