Kraft box pricing
Volume tiers, starting prices per format, and a straight answer on what actually moves the number.
Custom kraft box pricing runs from roughly $0.30 to $2.65 per unit depending on format, size and volume. Unit price falls in five volume tiers between the 50-unit minimum and 25,000 units, with the steepest drop between 250 and 1,000 units.

What moves the price
Volume
The largest single factor. Setup cost is fixed per run, so it spreads thinner the more units you order. Moving from 250 to 1,000 units typically drops the unit price by around a quarter.
Board and construction
A single-ply folding carton costs less than E-flute corrugated, which costs less than a wrapped rigid box. The structure decision moves price more than any finish does.
Print colours
Each spot colour is a plate and a press pass. One or two colours on natural kraft is the economical choice. Full-colour digital is better for short runs than for volume.
Finishes
Foil, emboss, spot UV and lamination are each a separate pass. We quote them line by line so you can see what each one is actually costing you.
Pricing questions
Why does the estimator differ from my quote?
The estimator works from format, size band and volume. A quote works from your actual dieline, board grade, print count and finishes. The estimator is for budgeting, not for purchasing.
Is there a setup fee?
Plate and tooling costs are built into the unit price rather than charged separately, which is why the per-unit figure drops so sharply with volume. Reorders of the same dieline avoid the tooling portion.
Do you price match?
We will look at a competing quote and tell you honestly whether it is comparable. Very often it is not, because board grade, ECT rating or print count differ. If it is genuinely like for like and cheaper, we will say so.
What are the payment terms?
Payment in full on first order. Established accounts can apply for NET 30 or NET 60 through the wholesale programme.
