Kraft packaging for supplement and nutrition brands

This is the most regulated category we print. The label requirements are fixed, the panel space is not negotiable, and the carton dimension follows from both.

Supplement packaging is constrained by the Supplement Facts panel, which has a mandated format and minimum type sizes. The carton has to be sized around that panel and around the bottle, in that order.

What actually drives the spec

The constraints that decide the structure in this category, in the order they matter.

Supplement Facts has a mandated format

Panel layout, rule weights and minimum type sizes are specified. It cannot be redrawn to fit a carton that is too small, so the carton gets sized to the panel.

Tamper evidence

Retailers and marketplaces increasingly require a visible tamper-evident feature. A tear strip or a seal on the carton is cheaper than a shrink band and keeps the pack plastic-free.

Powders need a different pack

Tubs and pouches rather than cartons. Larger-capacity kraft pouches with a wide gusset, and a child-resistant closure where the formulation calls for it.

Bottle sizing is standardised

Most supplement bottles come in standard capacities, so we hold dielines for the common sizes and can turn a carton spec around quickly.

Questions from this category

Can you fit a Supplement Facts panel on a small carton?

Only if the carton is sized for it. The panel format and minimum type sizes are mandated, so we work backwards from the panel to a carton dimension rather than trying to compress the panel.

Do you offer child-resistant packaging?

Child-resistant zippers on pouches, yes. Child-resistant closures on bottles are a primary-container question and sit outside what we supply.
