Scope

These terms apply to packaging orders placed with Kraft Boxes Packaging Solutions. Where a signed supply agreement exists, that agreement takes precedence over anything here.

Quotes

Prices shown on this website, including anything produced by the pricing estimator, are indicative and are not offers. A binding price is the one on a written quote issued against an approved dieline and specification. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and assume the board grades, print counts and finishes listed on them.

Where material costs move significantly between quote and order, we will tell you before production rather than after.

Artwork and approval

You are responsible for the content of artwork you supply, including that you hold the rights to use it and that any regulatory, nutritional or ingredient copy on it is accurate and compliant.

Production begins only after you approve a digital proof. That approval is your confirmation of layout, spelling, barcode data, colour references and dimensions. We are not liable for errors present in artwork you approved. If you are unsure, ask for a printed sample before approving.

Colour and production tolerances

Kraft is an unbleached substrate and its base tone varies between mill batches. Printed colour on kraft will not match a screen or a coated proof exactly, and we will tell you at quote stage where your artwork needs a white underbase to hold true.

Standard industry tolerances apply to dimensions, board weight and registration. Variation within those tolerances is not a defect.

Quantity tolerance

Custom print runs are subject to an over or under run tolerance of up to 10 percent of the ordered quantity, which is standard across the industry. We invoice for the quantity delivered. If you need a guaranteed minimum received quantity, say so before production and we will run to that.

Lead times

Stated lead times run from artwork approval, not from order placement, and are working-day estimates rather than guarantees. Where a deadline is critical, tell us at quote stage so it can be scheduled rather than hoped for.

Payment

First orders are payable in full before production. Established accounts may be granted NET 30 or NET 60 terms through the wholesale programme at our discretion. Overdue balances may pause production on open orders.

Delivery and risk

Risk passes on delivery to the address you supply. Inspect shipments on arrival and note any visible carrier damage on the delivery receipt. International shipments are subject to duties and import taxes payable by you.

Claims and remakes

Report any issue within 14 days of delivery, with photographs and your order number. Where a run does not match the approved proof or the agreed specification, we will remake it at our cost. Where it does match, we will help you identify what went wrong at approval stage, but a remake would be a new order.

Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales or missed launch dates.

Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled without charge before artwork approval. After approval, custom-printed goods are in production and cannot be cancelled, because they have no resale value to anyone else.

Tooling and files

Structural dielines we produce for you are yours to keep and reuse. Physical cutting dies and print plates remain our property and are held for reorders.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
