Kraft paper boxes and packaging formats

Seven structures, each solving a different problem. This page is the comparison, and each format page carries the full specification.

Kraft boxes fall into three families: flat-packed formats that fold on site (mailers, folding cartons, shipping boxes), presentation formats that arrive built or hold a rigid shape (gift boxes, retail product boxes), and food or flexible formats where a barrier coating drives the spec (food boxes, stand-up pouches). All are available from a 50-unit minimum.

Which one fits

Start from the job the box has to do rather than from the format name.

Ships flat, folds on site

Lowest freight and storage cost. The default for anything shipped in volume.

Built for presentation

Where the box is part of what the customer is paying for, or is competing on a shelf.

Food and flexible

Barrier and food-contact compliance drive the specification before anything else does.
